Title I Email Phone: 608-994-2715 Meet Karen Jeardeau, our dedicated Title 1/Reading Specialist, who brings her passion for education to our school community. Karen received her high school diploma from Lancaster High School and advanced her education in Early Childhood at Southwest Tech, UW-Platteville, and UW-Oshkosh. Before joining our team, she worked at Mount Horeb as a 4 year old/Kindergarten teacher and St. Charles School in Cassville as a 1st and 2nd grade teacher. Karen's favorite part of her job is witnessing students' growth and accomplishments throughout the school year.
Outside of school hours, she indulges in various activities such as reading, crafting, hiking, camping, and going for drives with her beloved dogs. You may find Karen out for morning walks before sunrise embracing her love of the outdoors. She enjoys watching hockey in her free time as well.
When it comes to treats, Karen can't resist Steak and Shrimp and has quite the sweet tooth with her favorites being Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Twix, Mountain Dew, and A&W Cream Soda. In her leisure time, enjoys watching movies with her favorites being “A Walk in the Woods” and "Wild Hogs.” “Little Rabbit’s Loose Tooth” is her literacy favorite.
