Katie hails from Wauzeka-Steuben and is a proud alumna of UW-Platteville. Her commitment to teaching shines through in her favorite part of the job: engaging students in fun reading projects. She sees boundless opportunities for the students to be creative in this subject area and witness their unique talents blossom. Outside of school, Katie enjoys spending her spare time on the river, indulging in her favorite pastime of fishing. When it comes to food, she can't resist a plate of pasta, but her go-to treat is Ritz crackers with Nutella. Katie's topping her list for her favorite sport is volleyball and among other favorites the color of green. In her downtime, she's engrossed in the pages of "An Invisible Thread" by Alex Tresniowski and Laura Schroff, and when it comes to movies, "The Polar Express" is her top pick. An interesting fact about Katie is that she will soon graduate with her Master's in School Supervision and Instructional Leadership, a testament to her ongoing dedication to education. It's clear that Katie's passion for teaching and learning makes her an invaluable member of our River Ridge school community.
