The Exam is designed to gauge how well students are doing with the Wisconsin Academic Standards.

The DLM system is designed to map a student's learning throughout the year.

PreACT Secure measures what students have learned in the areas of English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science.

The high school students in grade 11 will take the ACT with writing® which includes Reading, Math, English, Science, Writing.

Federal and state laws require that students identified as English Learners (ELs) be assessed annually to determine their level of English language proficiency (ELP) and ensure that they are progressing in achieving full English proficiency. 

Fundamental skills screening for 4 year old Kindergarten and Universal Reading screening for 5 year old Kindergarten through 3rd Grade

AimsWeb Plus

AimsWeb Plus is an assessment and progress monitoring tool used to help teachers understand how students are performing academically. It provides a range of standardized tests that measure skills in areas like reading, math, and writing. The goal is to identify students who may need extra support and to track their progress over time. AimsWeb Plus is used in Tomahawk as a screening tool in grades 4K-3 in reading and a progress monitoring tool in grades K-8 in Reading and Mathematics.  Assessment length varies depending on the needs of the student but most are less than 10 minutes in length.  The screening assessment is administered in the Fall, Winter, and early Spring. Results are communicated with families no later than 15 days after the assessment is scored per Act 20.

i-Ready

The universal screening tool i-Ready is an adaptive assessment used in math (grades 1-8) and literacy (grades 4-8) to help determine where students might have gaps in knowledge and skills and need assistance. It is administered three times per year and generally requires 45-90 minutes to complete.  Results are communicated with families along with the results of the aimsWeb Plus Reading screener.
